E-Book Peregrinations

On his way to Hajj Ackley joins a caravan and makes friends. He falls in love with Tinhinan, a fellow traveller. The gruelling trip takes its toll. He becomes ill in Mecca, which he sees as punishment for zina. After Hajj rituals, his friends leave without him. He prays for forgiveness and good health to return home. His prayers get answered. However, unable to explain the trip back, he is seen as a pariah. For the sake of his family and his sanity, he goes into exile. A solo trip across the Sahara tests his resolve and rekindles his love.
